Basketball Recap: Rappahannock Comes Up Short

Rappahannock was the 50-20 winner over Northumberland when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rappahannock Raiders fell 31-21 to the Northumberland Indians on Tuesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rappahannock's record now sits at 2-7. As for Northumberland, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rappahannock will challenge Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northumberland, they will take on Lancaster at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northumberland is facing Lancaster at the right time seeing as Lancaster is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
