Volleyball Recap: Madison Central Falls Short of Ocean Springs in the Playoffs

Madison Central and Ocean Springs squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Madison Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Madison Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ocean Springs' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-18.

Madison Central's defeat dropped their record down to 28-11. As for Ocean Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 25 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 40-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Madison Central nor Ocean Springs have any future games scheduled.
