Basketball Recap: Palatine Takes a Loss

Palatine was the 52-35 winner over Glenbrook South when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Palatine Pirates took a 52-38 bruising from the Glenbrook South Titans on Monday.

Palatine's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Glenbrook South, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Palatine will face off against Glenbard West at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenbard West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Palatine likes a good challenge. As for Glenbrook South, they will square off against Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Glenbrook South surely won't give up without a fight.
