Liberty had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the McKinney North Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Redhawks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Liberty had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Coming up, Liberty will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Guyer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McKinney North, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ridge Point at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
