There's no place like home for Hurricane, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Dixie Flyers by a score of 11-7 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Addi Lauritzen was a standout: she scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Ruby Seely, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Hurricane hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.

Hurricane's record is now 7-14. As for Dixie, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-14.

Hurricane will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Flyers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
