Soccer Game Preview: Lake Minneola vs. Lake Gibson

The Lake Minneola Hawks will host the Lake Gibson Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Lake Minneola took on South Lake on Tuesday. Lake Minneola and South Lake finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Hawks' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Lake Gibson entered their tilt with Lakeland Christian on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Vikings onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Nehemiah Towns had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Braves.

Lake Gibson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season. Lake Minneola's draw makes their record 1-2-1 this season.
