East Pennsboro has gone a perfect 7-0 against Camp Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will challenge the Lions at 4:15 p.m. East Pennsboro is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

East Pennsboro took a 13-run loss the last time they faced off against West Perry, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Mustangs on Friday. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-4), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Camp Hill didn't have quite enough to beat Middletown on Thursday and fell 7-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Blue Raiders: they've now lost six in a row.

Madeline Oyster was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Lindsay Johnson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

East Pennsboro's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Camp Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

East Pennsboro's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's match. The Panthers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Camp Hill, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will East Pennsboro continue to outrun the ball?

East Pennsboro took their win against Camp Hill in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
