Baseball Recap: Fall River Takes a Loss

Fall River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Mt. Shasta Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Fall River saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Parker, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Fall River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mt. Shasta, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bears beat Fall River by a score of 6-1 later that day.
