Volleyball Recap: West Point-Beemer Comes Up Short

West Point-Beemer lost against Wisner-Pilger back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cadets fell 2-0 to the Gators.

Ellie Bruning paced West Point-Beemer's offense, picking up four kills. Bruning got some help from Campbell Consbruck and her 13 assists. Kenna Hughes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

West Point-Beemer has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Wisner-Pilger, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-15.

West Point-Beemer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Bancroft-Rosalie on the 18th. As for Wisner-Pilger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Oakland-Craig on the 16th.
