Basketball Game Preview: Alamance Christian Warriors vs. Gospel Light Christian

Meanwhile, everything went Gospel Light Christian's way against Triad Baptist Christian Academy on Friday as Gospel Light Christian made off with a 53-30 win. Gospel Light Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

Alamance Christian better keep an eye on Maggie Jo Church. She was instrumental in Gospel Light Christian's win, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 24 rebounds. That's the most rebounds Church has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ali Phillips, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Gospel Light Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in eight consecutive contests.
