Baseball Recap: Plum's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Plum came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Franklin Regional Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-5 on Monday.

Plum's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

As for Franklin Regional, they will challenge Penn-Trafford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
