Volleyball Game Preview: Chamberlain Cubs vs. Gregory Gorillas

Chamberlain hasn't had much luck against Gregory recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cubs will venture away from home to challenge the Gorillas at 7:45 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Chamberlain lost 3-0 to Miller on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-14.

The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Gregory and Bon Homme, and Bon Homme kept the tradition alive. The Gorillas came up short against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Gorillas have suffered since September 11th.

While Gregory was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 25-14.

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Gregory, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
