Basketball Recap: Tuscaloosa Christian Takes a Loss

Tuscaloosa Christian lost against Providence Classical back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Providence Classical.

Despite the loss, Tuscaloosa Christian still got an impressive performance from Alec Joiner, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Joiner is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Wiggins, who posted 11 points.

Tuscaloosa Christian's loss dropped their record down to 21-2. As for Providence Classical, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

As of now, neither Tuscaloosa Christian nor Providence Classical have any future games scheduled.
