After losing to Kingwood Park the last time they met, South Houston decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Houston Trojans wrapped up 2024 with a 57-42 victory over the Kingwood Park Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

South Houston has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Kingwood Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Houston will host Pasadena Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. South Houston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Pasadena Memorial likes a good challenge. As for Kingwood Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dayton at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Dayton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Kingwood Park surely won't give up without a fight.
