Basketball Game Preview: Interlake Saints vs. Evergreen Wolverines

The Interlake Saints will venture away from home to challenge the Evergreen Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Meanwhile, Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Cedarcrest, falling 63-37. The matchup marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Interlake's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Evergreen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Interlake against Evergreen in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, as the squad secured an 82-36 win. In that contest, Interlake amassed a halftime lead of 51-23, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
