Basketball Recap: Wellington Comes Up Short

Wellington lost against Collegiate back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wellington Crusaders fell just short of the Collegiate Spartans by a score of 76-74. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (73), the Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Wellington now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Collegiate, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Wellington will head out to square off against Andale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Collegiate, they will be home for the holidays to greet El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Collegiate knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully El Dorado likes a good challenge.
