Volleyball Recap: West Platte Triumphs

West Platte saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Stover Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Catelyn Carlson paced West Platte's offense, picking up 11 kills. Carlson got some help from Amber Rutherford and her 16 assists. Nora Meyerkorth controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

West Platte's victory bumped their record up to 14-11-2. As for Stover, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-2.

Coming up, West Platte will square off against St. Joseph Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stover, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Versailles on the 29th.
