Softball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

Rogers and Colbert County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Rogers had to settle for second. They fell 5-0 to the Indians. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 16-21. As for Colbert County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-15-1 record this season.

Rogers didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 victory against Clements on the 28th. Hopefully Colbert County paid attention to the Pirates' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pirates at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
