Carl Junction won the last time they faced Joplin and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

Carl Junction not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Joplin between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Kate Odaffer paced Carl Junction's offense, picking up 13 kills. Odaffer got some help from Jadyn Howard and her 27 assists. Howard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Carl Junction's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Joplin, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-24-1.

Coming up, Carl Junction will face off against West Plains at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Joplin has already played their next contest (against Parkview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
