It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glenwood Springs can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pueblo South Colts by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. The Demons' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Glenwood Springs got a good showing from Lucas Stott, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, Stott didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Jackson Irving was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

Glenwood Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Pueblo South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Glenwood Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pueblo South, they will face off against Golden at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Demons will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
