Basketball Recap: Cheraw Continues Home Dominance on Monday

It's playoff time, and Cheraw had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Chesnee Eagles 60-42 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Cheraw found their leader in freshman Zainab Fall, who posted 17 points. The dominant performance gave Fall a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sa'Nya Murray, who earned 11 points.

Cheraw's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Chesnee, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Cheraw nor Chesnee have any future games scheduled.
