Softball Recap: Emerson Mavericks vs. Independence Knights
Emerson won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Friday too. The Emerson Mavericks walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Independence Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mavericks.
Madison Fletcher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024.
