Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only John Glenn walked away with it. They never let the Beaver Local Beavers get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Wednesday. The Muskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Kendall Snider, who gave up just four hits and racked up 16 Ks to keep Beaver Local off the board. Snider has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Libby Brown was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Addi Babcock was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: John Glenn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beaver Local only managed four.

The win made it two in a row for John Glenn and bumps their season record up to 25-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Beaver Local, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-5.

As of now, neither John Glenn nor the Beavers have any future games scheduled.
