Football Recap: Nova Takes a Loss

Nova was the 33-22 winner over South Plantation when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell 21-14 to the Paladins on Friday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Nova took the loss, they still got scores from Kymani Turner and Duvan Acosta.

South Plantation's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamary Cooper, who rushed for 151 yards and one score. Cooper is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 141 every time he's taken the field this season. Nixon Kalish was another key signal caller, throwing for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.

Nova's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Plantation, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Nova will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hallandale at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for South Plantation, they will face off against Coral Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
