Basketball Game Preview: MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen vs. Unity Christian Knights

MOC-Floyd Valley has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Unity Christian has won ten straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen will be home for the holidays to greet the Unity Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

MOC-Floyd Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Sibley-Ocheyedan 97-26 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Unity Christian took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-32 win over Sheldon. The 61-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

MOC-Floyd Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Unity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

MOC-Floyd Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Unity Christian in their previous matchup back in February, winning 71-62. Will MOC-Floyd Valley repeat their success, or does Unity Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
