Soccer Recap: Thunderbird Find Success

After low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, Thunderbird brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They never let the Shadow Mountain Matadors onto the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

They hit Shadow Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dulce Castro (2), Nazaret Gordian Ramirez (2), and Rachel Landsteiner.

Thunderbird's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Shadow Mountain, they dropped their record down to 0-6-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Thunderbird has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against St. Mary's on the 24th. As for Shadow Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against North Canyon on the 23rd.
