Basketball Recap: Antioch Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Antioch had won two straight home games and Jaiden Claybrook did his part to make it three on Monday. The Antioch Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 win over the LaVergne Wolverines thanks in part to Claybrook, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. The contest was his 13th in a row with at least ten points.

Antioch has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for LaVergne, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Antioch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-46 victory against Cheatham County Central on the 20th. As for LaVergne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-66 defeat against Brentwood on the 20th.
