Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apex Friendship). They blew past the Clayton Comets 7-3 on Saturday. It was an even better day for Aiden Baumberger as he scored three goals for his team.

Apex Friendship pushed their record up to 5-3-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. As for Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-1.

Looking ahead, Apex Friendship will venture away from home to square off against Jordan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton, they will host Fuquay - Varina at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give Clayton their first taste of in-conference action this season.
