Football Recap: Archbishop Shaw Skates Past Loyola College Prep with Ease

It's playoff time, and Archbishop Shaw had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Loyola College Prep Flyers 38-7 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

The win made it two in a row for Archbishop Shaw and bumps their season record up to 8-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for Loyola College Prep, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.

Coming up, Archbishop Shaw will head out on the road to challenge Vandebilt Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Loyola College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
