Basketball Recap: Melba Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Melba was riding high fresh off their 46-22 takedown of Nampa Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 43-35 to the Fruitland Grizzlies on Saturday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Melba's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Fruitland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Melba will venture away from home to challenge Parma at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fruitland, they will be home for the holidays to greet Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
