Football Preview: Giles County Bobcats vs. Grundy County Yellowjackets        
        
		
             Giles County has gone 3-0 against Grundy County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Giles County Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grundy County Yellowjackets  at 7:00  p.m. After  both  made easy work of their previous opponents,  one won't be so lucky on Friday.
 Giles County is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They blew past Watertown 42-21 on Friday. With the Bobcats ahead  28-0 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
  Caleb Oates continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 244 yards and four touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 103  rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Kareem Bryant, who gained 202 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile,  after only two  points in their last  matchup, Grundy County made sure to put some  points up on the board against Community  on Friday. Grundy County blew past Community 54-8 on the road.
 It was another big night for  Vince Bryant, who rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry.
 Grundy County wouldn't let Community keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Grundy County can thank  Ian Grizzell and  River Hampton for forcing both of them. Grundy County got some further help from  Connor Ponds: he picked up  three  sacks and made six total tackles.
 The  win  got Giles County back to even at 3-3. As for Grundy County, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Friday's  game will pit two  of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Oates and  Bryant. Oates has put up some stellar numbers this year, and currently owns excellent season averages 148.8 rushing yards per game this season. For his part,  Bryant has averaged 136 rushing yards per game this season.
 Everything came up roses for Giles County against Grundy County when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, as the  team secured  a  56-6 win. Will Giles County repeat their success,  or does  Grundy County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
