Marion is 8-2 against Bear Lake since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Marion Eagles will challenge the Bear Lake Lakers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Marion comes in on five and Bear Lake on seven.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Marion beat Meridian 49-43.

Meanwhile, everything went Bear Lake's way against Mesick on Monday as Bear Lake made off with a 53-30 victory. The Lakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Bear Lake's win came from a few key players Marion will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Myles Harless, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 boards. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Grady Harless, who posted 15 points and five steals.

Marion pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for Bear Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

Everything went Marion's way against Bear Lake in their previous meeting on February 6th, as Marion made off with a 56-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marion since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
