Basketball Recap: Cheney Tech Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cheney Tech walked away with it. They came out on top against the Hamden Green Dragons by a score of 65-57 on Monday.

Cheney Tech is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Hamden and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Cheney Tech will head out on the road to face off against Academy of Science and Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Academy of Science and Innovation will roll in looking for their 21st straight win, something Cheney Tech surely won't give up without a fight. Hamden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
