Springside Chestnut Hill Academy took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They blew past Germantown Academy 34-13. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for William Penn Charter after they claimed the first score on Saturday, but it was Episcopal Academy who ended up claiming the real prize. The Quakers took a 31-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Churchmen. The Quakers were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for William Penn Charter, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy strolled past William Penn Charter in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 21-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
