Luther has gone 3-0 against Mondovi recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Luther Knights will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Mondovi Buffaloes at 1:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Luther has seven straight wins, Mondovi has 28 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Luther against Prairie du Chien as the team secured a 72-45 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 393rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mondovi took a blow against Regis on Friday, falling 70-40.

Luther pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Mondovi, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Luther against Mondovi when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 97-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Luther since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
