Basketball Recap: Caliche Comes Up Short

Caliche was the 56-52 winner over Haxtun when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Caliche Buffaloes fell 62-49 to the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs on Saturday. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caliche's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Haxtun, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caliche will take on Akron at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Haxtun, they will face off against Sedgwick County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Haxtun has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matches.
