Softball Recap: Cedarburg Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Cedarburg had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Indian Trail Hawks with a sharp 11-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the game before.

Cedarburg's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Indian Trail, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
