Clinton's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Blissfield Royals an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Clinton, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Clinton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those eight games. As for Blissfield, they moved to 3-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Clinton will head out to take on Lenawee Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blissfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
