Basketball Recap: Johnson Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Johnson won the last time they faced Reagan and Marc Anthony did his part to make sure it happened again. The Jaguars walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Rattlers on Friday thanks in part to Anthony, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 boards. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Despite the loss, Reagan still got an impressive performance from Ozmel Bowen, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Carter Roach also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Johnson and bumps their season record up to 12-10. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Reagan, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-9.
