Oakland entered their tilt with Greenbrier on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bobcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Cecilia Damron paced Oakland's offense, picking up nine kills. Damron got some help from Ellie Knox and her 22 assists. Allie Bennett controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oakland's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Greenbrier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
