Softball Game Preview: Notre Dame Titans vs. Monroeville Eagles

The Notre Dame Titans will square off against the Monroeville Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Notre Dame is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Covington 9-2. Considering the Titans have won 16 games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Monroeville posted their closest win since May 7th on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mohawk 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Madison Reiber, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Monroeville's win bumped their record up to 27-3. As for Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 26-3.
