Mountain View lost to Cedar Ridge back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Yellowjackets narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Timberwolves 49-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted against the Timberwolves since January 24, 2017.

Mountain View now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cedar Ridge, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
