Football Recap: Western Takes a Loss

Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 44-6 loss at the hands of the W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for W.E.B. DuBois Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Western will be playing at home against Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for W.E.B. DuBois Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Commanders' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
