Softball Game Preview: Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs vs. Cosby Titans

Richmond High School for the Arts hasn't had much luck against Cosby recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Neither Richmond High School for the Arts nor Cosby posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Richmond High School for the Arts is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 21st straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Monacan, falling 21-1.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Cosby's offense. They fell just short of Midlothian by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Titans have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Cosby saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kam Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Amelia McCovick also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Richmond High School for the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cosby, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
