Woodside put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 51-47 W over the Hampton Crabbers. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Crabbers are ranked 44th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Hampton still got an impressive performance from Jawaun Tucker, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Knight, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points.

Woodside pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Woodside will venture away from home to square off against Green Run at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Green Run has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Hampton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-51 win against Bethel on the 18th.
