Baseball Recap: Fort Towson Comes Up Short

Fort Towson fell victim to Caney and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Fort Towson's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Caney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-15.

Coincidentally, Fort Towson and Caney will both be playing Pittsburg the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
