Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sheboygan Falls

Sheboygan Falls extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 7-7. They blew past the Roncalli Jets 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Kenley Mortenson paced Sheboygan Falls' offense, picking up nine kills. Mortenson got some help from Abigail Beaumont and her 22 assists. Mortenson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

As for Roncalli, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 10, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Roncalli lost, don't look at Erin Panosh. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and two assists. Panosh has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Sheboygan Falls has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Two Rivers on the 11th. As for Roncalli, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against New Holstein on the 11th.
