Baseball Recap: Discovery Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Discovery was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 26-2 to Valor Academy. The Warriors haven't had much luck with Valor Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Discovery saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samuel Hernandez, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Valor Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Discovery will take on rival Community Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Valor Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakeview Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
