Baseball Game Preview: Whitewater Whippets vs. Jefferson Eagles

Whitewater is 0-10 against Jefferson since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Whippets will host the Eagles at 4:45 p.m.

Monday just wasn't the day for Whitewater's offense. They lost 6-0 to Delavan-Darien on Monday.

Whitewater saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Carollo, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Jefferson entered their tilt with Denmark on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Vikings an 8-0 shutout.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
