Edgerton is 8-2 against Whitewater since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Crimson Tide will challenge the Whippets at 10:00 a.m. Edgerton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Edgerton gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Delavan-Darien, sneaking past 6-4.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitewater). They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Clinton on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Whippets with their most commanding win of the season.

Edgerton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Whitewater, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.

Edgerton took their win against Whitewater in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crimson Tide since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
